The Society is structured with an executive council which includes the co-chairs of the functional committees. The committees are:

Committees

1. Administration - Responsible for managing the operational structure of the Society including day to day activities.
2. Advocacy - Responsible for creating a process for developing/establishing advocacy positions or statements on behalf of the Society.
3. Communications - Responsible for developing communication with members, other societies, sister organizations and the general public.
4. Development - Responsible for overseeing finances of the organization and helping to secure additional resources.
5. Legal and Governance - Responsible for developing the governance of the Society, including by-laws, membership requirements, dues and other governance issues.
6. Meetings/Program - Responsible for planning an annual meeting and working with other societies to include our programming in their meetings.
7. Membership - Responsible for expanding SECH membership and identifying other disciplines and societies with whom to work and participate.
